Paavendhar College of Education,located in M.V. South, Thalaivasal, marked a significant academic milestone by inaugurating its Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) on Friday, June 20, 2025. The inaugural ceremony was held at the college's AVE Hall and was graced by eminent personalities from the academic and education sector.
The event was presided over by Dato. S. Prakadeesh Kumar, Founder & Chairman of the college and Group Managing Director of Plus Max Group of Companies. He emphasized the importance of maintaining quality standards in higher education and reiterated the institution’s commitment to continuous improvement and excellence.
The Chief Guest and Resource Person for the occasion was Dr. P. Maadeswaran, Deputy Director - IQAC and Assistant Professor, Department of Energy Science & Technology, Periyar University, Salem. In his keynote address Dr. Maadeswaran shed light on the role of IQAC in fostering academic accountability, innovation, and the adoption of best practices within institutions.
The event also witnessed the presence of Datin Ranthiny Nalliah (Director), Mr. R. Arunkumar (CEO), and Dr. M. Prakash (Principal), who addressed the gathering and extended their full support to the successful implementation of IQAC initiatives at the college.
Faculty members, administrative staff, and students actively participated in the ceremony, marking a new chapter in the institution's pursuit of quality enhancement.
